Honors and Awards Member of the French Academy of Sciences (since 2004), Foreign member of the National Academy of Sciences (USA) (since 2008) and of the Indian Academy of Sciences (since 2008). Fellow of the American Geophysical Union (since 1996), Member of the Academia Europaea (since 1990).
